MEETING WITH LOUISIANA ENERGY-SERVICES ON LICENSING ISSUES ~
-Now that the: Louisiana Energy Services (LES) partnership has-been formalized, and a phase 11 agreement for the transfer'of classified information from Europe to the United States signed by the Ambassadors ~of the Urenco countries and Ambassador' Kennedy for the United States, pre-licensing. meetings with LES will resume. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, May 3,.1990,'in Room-8B11, 0WFN.
Issues related.to the partnership,.i.e. antitrustsinformation, foreign ownership, control. or domination, as well as shipment of centrifuge-machine components to the United States, will be. discussed beginning at 9:30 a.-m. _ Discussion of other issues, including quality assurance and design-bases for use in LES' safety analysis report,- Will follow.
