Rockwell letter 90RC.02031 This acknowledges receipt of your letter dated February 9,1990, in which you apprised the NRC of the modification in the environmental monitoring program.
You indicated that the routine sempling and analysis of environmental soil, air and vegetation will be replaced by sampling done in conjunction with monItoringanddecontaminationoperations.
This monitoring is to include sampling and analysis of air, soil, water, vegetation, effluents, and i
radiation as indicated by the situation and operations.
Routine sampling and analysis of surface and groundwater not related to these areas will continue by use of independent laboratories.
Year current license allows changes to be made in the environmental monitoring program without amending the license.
Your cooperation in keeping us informed of chrnges to the environmental monitoring program is appreciated.
