Your letter dated February 16, 1990, requested that an extension of about 45 t
days (i.e., from March 20, 1990, until May 4, 1990) be granted to utilities comprising the BWR Owners' Group (BWROG).
You stated that the BWROG response is expected to be submitted Merch 20, 1990, and that the requested extension would allow individual utilities time to review the generic response and verify i
r applicability to their plant (s).
Based on the justification provided in your February 16, 1990, letter, we find the extension acceptable.
