Shealy, Chief Bureau of Radiological Health 2600 Bull Street Columbia, South Carolina 29201 Dear Mr. Shealy This will confirm a recent conversation with Mr. Virgil Autry relating to NRC's visit to review the. South Carolina Radiation Control Program for-Agreement Materials. The visit is scheduled for March 15-16, 1990.
This will-be an informal visit to assess the status of your program and to discuss. any topics of mutual concern.
The usual questions sent to you in preparation for a full review will not be.needed for this visit.
Mr. Carl Kammerer, Director, State Programs, also plans to attend this meeting.
In addition, Mr. Jim Shaffner and Mr. Roy Person, will be assisting during the review and would like to meet with your Low Level Waste Section during this meeting. Specific details will be discussed with Mr. Autry prior to the review.
