i Special Report This Special Report updates the previous Special Reports of December-1, 1989 (Letter CPY-320-89), December 21, 1989 (Letter CPY-348-89), and December 29, 1989 (Letter CPY-361-89).
A number of fire damper deviations have been identified as the result of an ongoing program to inspect fire dampers to ensure their installation is in accordance with the manufacturers' approved construction installation details. The previous Special Reports committed to dates for restoring dampers to operability.which cannot be met for all the dampers, due to the large number of dampers being reworked and the complexity of the repairs. Based on the above, the following new dates are submitted:
1.
Fire Damper 97, which is located in the "B" electrical switchgear room (Room 38) on the south wall, will be reworked and restored to operability by March 16, 1990.
2.
Fire Damper 93, which is located in the "B" electrical switchgear room (Room 38) on the south wall, will be reworked and restored to operability by April 16, 1990.

The dates for restoring the remaining fire dampers to operability which were addressed in CPY-348-89 have not changed.
