As requested.. in_ your letter of November 15, 1989, a' confirmation survey was
. performed by Region-IV on January 19, 1990 for a portion of your reactor room in which you propose to pour a new concrete floor over the existing floor to l
construct a storage facility. Based on the results of the survey and the-recomendation of Region IV, we have no objection to pouring the new concrete floor.
'i We have received your letter of December 12, 1989 requesting a one-year -
renewal of.your possession only license. Because your application was submitted at. least thirty days prior to the expiration of the license, the existing; license will not be deemed to have expired until the application has

beenfinallydetermined(10CFR2.109).
. We understand from your letter of December. 12, 1989 that your decomissioning

plan for the facility will be submitted to the NRC on or before July 27,
