Dear Mr. Miller:
Docket No. 50-461 Regarding our telephone discussion with K. Baker, NRC Region III on December 1, 1981, Illinois Power Company desires to modify its response in the area of Shift Technical Advisor and Line of Succession as follows:
Shift Technical Advisor Illinois Power Company accepts the requirement for the STA to be-in addition to the normal shift complement as an interim NRC staff position. When the NRC's deliberations are concluded and the requirement for elimination of the STA position have been established, IPC expects to eliminate this interim commitment.
Line of Succession The line of succession at Clinton Power Station in the event the Plant Manager is unavailable will be as follows:
Assistant Plant Manager Responsible for Operations and Radchem Assistant Plant Manager Responsible for Maintenance if he possesses a valid SR0 License on Clinton Power Station Supervisor'- Technical Supervisor - Plant 0perations Shift' Supervisor.
