REPOPTABLE OCCURRENCE 81-59/0lP SALEM NO. 1 UNIT LER This letter is to confirm our verbal report to the NRC Resident Inspector on Tuesday, June 16, 1981, adv_ sing of a potential reportable occurrence in accordance with Technical Specification 6.9.1.P.e.
During routine maintenance, check valves llMS46 and 13MS46 were fcund to be damaged which resulted in these check valves being unable to perform their intended function.
These valves are the No. 13 auxiliary feedwater turbine steam supply header isolation check valves.
