The purpose of this letter is to transmit for your information an increment of the analysis of the effects of natural phenomena relative to your plutonium operations at Santa Susana, California. The subject increment of analysis is the environmental consequences of postulated plutonium releases from your Santa Susana, California plant as a result of severe natural phenomena. A draft of the enclosure has been reviewed, and conmented upon, by those analysts who required the results to carry out succeeding analyses and by NRC staff. The NRC staff has endorsed this final version of the review for application in succeeding analyses.
However, we will consider cha'.lenge of our endorsement when supported by credible technical bases.
