OPERATING LICENSES The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has issued Amendment No. 77 to Facility Operating License No. D?R-33 and Ame a
to Facility Operating License No. DPR-52 issued to Tennessee Valley Aut
-x (the licensee), which revised Technical Specifications for nperation of t Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Unit Nos.1 and 2, located in Limestone County, The amendments are effective as of the date of issuance.
These amendments change the Technical Specifications to modify the conditions under which start buses 1A and 1B nust be operational.
The application for the amendments complies with the standards and requirements of ti.e Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Comission's rules and regulations.
The Commission has made appropria1s findings as required by the Act and the Comission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendments.
Prior public notice of these amer.dments was not required since the amendments do I
not involve a significant hazards consideration.
The Comission has determined that the issuance of these amendment w i
not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR Section 51.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative I
declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in l
connection with issuance of these amendments.
