SUBJECT:
DRA OLICY AND PLANNING GUIDANCE Enclosed is a draft Policy and Planning Guidance (PPG) document which we prepared according to your request of August 17, 1981 (Tab A). The document covers the policy initiatives you discussed during your first staff meeting and reflects your wish for brevity.
In addition to the PPG document, OPE has prepared a draft memorandum to the staff to accompany the PPG (Tab B), a schedule for achieving Co::rnission approval by early January (Tab C), and a proposed set of activities which would be tracked by the staff and about which the Cc::rnission would be briefed periodically (Tab D). Tab D also contains a draft proposal for tracking activities prepared by the ED0's office.
