November 23, 1981, regarding discovery.
You asked if Licensee would agree to an extension of time for your answering our interrogatories of November 10, 1981.
As we stated, Licensee would prefer that you file the answers when due, on November 25, 1981.
This is consistent with my statements during the November 17, 1981, conference call, and with Licensee's efforts to establish and maintain a reasonable hearing schedule which would enable a Board decision in time for the spring 1982 refueling outage for Unit 2.
You also brought up the subject of your Octomer 29, 1981, motion to compel discovery.
I explained that I had checked with the Company, and that, with one possible exception, we knew of no documents in Licensee's possession responsive to your Interroga-tories 6, 8,
11, 12 and 14, other than those referenced in our October 27, 1981 responses to the interrogatories.
In conducting a confirmatory check that day, we discovered that one of Licensee's employees had in his personal files a document which is part of the NRC record for the sleeving amend-ment request for the San Onofre facility, and which may be
