Dear Sir:
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.59(b) Boston Edison hereby submits a report containing a brief description and a safety evaluation of all design changes implemented at Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station during the previous year.
This report encompasses reportable modifications implemented between July 1.
1980 and June 30, 1981 which were made, as authorized by 10 CFR 50.59 (b) without prior Commission approval, and tests and experiments not described in the FSAR which were performed under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.59.
We regret that, due to the increased work-load engendered by our current refueling outage, the submittal of this report was slightly delayed.
