Gentlemen:
-u During the recent upgrade plan review visit to your facility by Mr. Rentschler of the NRC Licensing staff, it was determined that two of the current physical protection license conditions should be revised in order to clarify the physi-cal protection measures required thereunder. The two license conditions, 9.4.1 and 9.5.5, concern duties of the Texas Instruments site security super-visor and the location of certain HFIR security equipment.
Accordingly, we are hereby revising Materials and Plant Protection Anendment MPP-1 to your License No. SNM-23 by revising conditions 9.4.1 and 9.5.5 of Appendix A to Section 9 of the amendment as set forth in the enclosure to this letter.
It has been determined that the enclosure to this letter contains information of a type specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d). Accordingly, it is deemed to be l
