Dear Mayor McNamara:
M This is to invite you and your colleagues to a meeting concerning the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's regulatory program for nuclear power plants, including the Resident Inspection Program for the Byron Station. The meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on December 16, 1981 in the Fireside Room of the Byron Cultural Centa.r. 220 West Third Street, Byron.
The meeting is intended to be informal, and the senior public officials from Ogle and Winnebago Counties as well as from the Towns of Byron and Oregon have beea invited. An agenda is enclosed for your infor-mation.
Along with myself, the following Region III personnel will be in i
attendance at the meeting: William Forney, Senior Resident Inspector at Byron, and Dee Hayes, Projects Section Chief.
