As a result of the inspection conducted-on November 5-7 and December 12-14..

1980, ard in accordance with the Interim-Enforcement Policy, 45 FR.66754, October 7,1980, the following two violations were identified:.

T.S. 6.11. " Radiation Protection Pmgram", states: " Procedures for personnel

- l radiation protection shall be prepared consistent with the requirements of

10 CFR 20 and shall be approved, maintained, and adhered to for all operations involving personnel radiation exposure."

Station Procedure SilP 4902, " External Radiation Control and Dostustry Issue", required each individual to wear the assigned personal dosimetry devices during presence in any radiological controlled area (RCA).

Contrary to the above, at about 1 p.m. on November 5,1980, an. individual was working in a RCA, the Reactor Building Equipment Access Lock, and was not wearing the. assigned personal dosimetry devices, as observed by the inspector.

Station Procedure SiiP 4936, " Posting of Radiologir.al Controlled Areas",

requires that all entrances to Radiological Controlled Areas (RCA's) be conspicuously posted with " Radiation Area" and " Radioactive Materials.
