Thank you for your letters, dated July 24 and August 10, 1981, in response to our letter dated June 26, 1981. As a nsult of our review, we find that additional information is needed. We ac'<now-ledge that measuring add testing equipment ased for product accep-tance is controlled by other procedures. However, the cited condi-tion has an affect upon quality and the procedure was not being adhered to; hence, a nonconformance with Criterion V of Appendix B to 10 CFR Part 50. On that basis, please provide, (1) a descrip-tion of steps that have been or will be tkken to correct the con-dition, (2) a description of steps that have been or will be taken to prevent recurrence, and (3) the dates your corrective actions and preventive measures were or will be completed; this pertains to Item A of the Notice of Nonconformance. Relative to items B and C of the Notice of Nonconformance, please provide, (1) a deqcription of steps that have been er will be t4 ken to prevent recurrence, anc (2) the dates your preventive measures were or will be completed.
Please provide this additional information within 25 days from the date of this letter en order that we may complete our review.
