This refers to your consolidated application dated October 2,1981, for renewal of the Model flo. GE-1600 package.
We find your consolidated application to be unacceptable. The application does not address all the supplements referenced in the Certificate of Compliance. The application is incomplete in that operating procedures, acceptance tests, and maintenance program have not been specified.
There are inconsistencies between the package description and the licensing drawings, e.g., package weights and closure lid dimensions.
We need a revised consolidated application which addresses the areas identified in the enclosure to this letter within 90 days from the date of this letter.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, we would be pleased to meet with you and your staff.

Provide an Appendix to your cover letter (tabulation) which lists all the supplements referenced by Certificate of Compliance No. 9044 Rev. 8 and identifies the section of the consolidated application that deals with each supplement.

Provide the inforination required by 10 CFR 71. Subpart D.
See Regulatory Guide 7.9. Sections 7 and 8.

Show that the dimensional tolerance of 15% would not result in a shleiding deficiency or an incompatibility between component parts, j
Dimensional tolerances should be shown on the license drawings.

Resolve inconsistencies between the licensing drawings and the package description.
5.
Show how Conditions Nos. 7 and 8 of the Certificate of Compliance will be met and how the packaging will be decchtaminated when the drain line is permanently closed and sealed as described in Section 1.0(b) of the Safety Analysis Report.
