Dear Mr. Hillman:

This letter is being suhaitted requesting your consideration for the following route to be used for the road transportation of the Safari fuel frcm Ncsport News, Virginia toSavannahRive.r Plant, Aiken, South f

Carolina.

I The Safari fuel will be shipped in a TN-1 cask, weighina 43,518 pounds.

I First shipnent to arrive Newport News, Virginial<W@%%r,] Other Safari shiprents will be shipped, but at this tirn, no schedule has been received.

Physical security of Safari shipnents will be the same presently used for spent fuel shipnents.

We have been in contact with the State of Virginia and the follcuing proposed route has been given to us for consideration in handling of Safari shipnents frcm Newport News, Virginia to Aiken, South Carolina.

Frcm the Northgate of Newport News pier, the truck pro eds East on 23rd street to tuvdek Blvd. (US 60) northwest to Pcrcury Blvd. (U S 17) over the James Rim Br: dge to Route 32 west to Benns Church to 10 and 32 south to 58/460 bypass to Suffolk to Poute 58 west.
