It is our understanding that the NRC will be holding heni.;g hearings in West-chester concerning the Union of Concerned Scientists' pe:ition to close the nuclear units located at Indian Point.
The Westchester County Association requests permission to make a limited ap-pearance in this matter. Our membership is concerned about the continued provision of reliable and cost effective supply of electricity to our region and feel that our views should be considered by the NRC.
