20555 Dear Ifr. Carters Congratulations on your appointment to head this hearing board.
I hope that the repeated delays which have plagued the Indian Point petition case are finally coming to an end.
I am a resident of Westchester County, living near Indian Point, and am very concerned about the presence of the nuclear reactors there near my home.
I hope that I will be able to participate in helping your Board arrive at the truth regarding the hazards treated by that plant. to myself, my family, and my neighbors.
Although I cannot be a legal intervenor in the case (I wor'c fn11 time as an engineer, designing medical electronic e_quipment), I would 6jt%,
like to attend and testify as much as possible.
I urge y 8
to hold the hearings in Westchester County, where the people h.

ww.u Thank you very much for your consideration.
Since the NRC '(/,
considers that the interim operation of Indian Point during thE I ,'['
l proceedings of this case poses no danger to myself and my neighbors, I am sure yog~will have no objection to joining us:
here for that period of time.
Sincerely, 3
