ORDER On October 9,1981, the Staff serv 5d interrogatories on Intervenor DAARE/ SAFE in accordance with the Board's. Revised Schedule. dated September 9,198, establishing a November 1,1981 deadline for completion of discovery. The purpose of these interrogatories was to ascertain the underlying factual bases supporting each DAARE/ SAFE contention, the identity, testimony and qualifications of its witnesses, and the identify of those who prepared the answers to the interrogstories. DAARE/ SAFE was required to answer such interrogatories, pursuant to 10 CFR 92.740(b) and including five days for mailing, not later than October 28, 1981.

SAFE has neither answered nor objected to those interrogatories. Accordingly, t

the Staff filed.a motion on November 9,1981 to compel prompt and completc responses, 5

Good cause having been shown and the Intervenors having been previously admonished that compliance with our regulations and orders is mandatory, DAARE/ SAFE is hereby ordered to prcvide forthwith full, complete and responsive answers to the Staff's interrogatories. The Intervenor is further warned again that its continued failure to comply with the Board'i orders may result in the imposition of sanctions, including tne dismissal of contentions and termination of its status as a party.

It is so ORDERED.
