HARTSVILLE AND PHIPPS BEND NUCLEAR PLANTS - REPORTABLE DEFICIENCY -
RPS PANEL DESIGN DEFICIENCIES (NCR PRC 80-31)
- Initial report of the subject deficiency was made to NRC-0IE, Region II Inspector, F. S. Cantrell, on August 7, 1980. The first, second, third, and fourth interim reports on the subject deficiency were transmitted on September 3, November 18, 1980, February 12, and
-April 24, 1981, respectively. In compliance with paragraph 50.55(e)
I of 10 CFR Part 50, this constitutes the fifth interim report for the Lubject deficiency.
Proposed corrective actions have been transmitted to TVA by General Electric. The review of these corrective actions is not complete at this time. We anticipate transmitting the final report on or before May 4, 1982. TVA considers 10 CFR Part 21 applicable to this reportable deficiency.
