The information requested to support the application for renewal of the operating license (R-59) for the Iowa State University Training Reactor has been assembled and is contained in an updated Safety Analysis Report. The SAR also includes in its appendices the facility Emergency Plan and Technical Specifications. Nineteen copies of the report are being shipped to you under separate cover.
The local committee which performs the review function for the facility has reviewed and cadorsed the SAR for submission to your staff for review and approval.
