4 fra I am outraged by the news that you have announced that the iiuclear Regulatory Commission may permit the owner of the
'Three 7_ile Island Huclear Plant to restart Unit 1 before the hearing master issues his findings on the extent of.
cheating on operator examinations.
I need not remind you that these are the persons who would be the operators of Unit 1 if it were allowed to start up again.
There may be a technicality in the law that allows such a thing to happen, but it would be criminal to place me and my family in that kind of danger.
I urge you to reconsider this matter, and not to ask the ::RC Commissioners to make a decision on the restart of TMI-l until efter the operator cheating '.ssue is settled.
