NRC STAFF'S RESPONSE TO GOVERHOR EDMUND G. BROWN, JR.'S THIRD REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS On October 14, 1981, Counsel for Goverror Brown of the State of California served " Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. Second Set of Interrogatories and Third Requect for Production of Documents to the NRC Staff." On November 3,1981, Counsel for the NRC Staff served "NRC Staff's Response to Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr.'s Second Set of Interrogatories." Attached thereto were all document 3 requested, identified or described in response to said interrogatories, with the exception of the letter report of the Texas Transportation Institute described in Response 6B, which is attached, documents already in the possession of Counsel for Governor Brown, and other specifically referenced documents, which are available from the NRC Public Document Room,1717 H Street, N.W., Wasnington, D.C.

One deficiency in the area of other requirements (see page s"-10 of Appendix 4, NUREG-0654 Rev.1) which requires "A review of the draft submittal by principal organizations (State and local) involved in emergency response for the site shall be solicited and comments resulting from such review included with the submittal," is noted.
