NRC STAFF'S RESPONSE TO INTERVEN0R LOUISIANA CONSUMER'S LEAGUE'S NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL FROM PROCEEDING On October 15, 1981, Intervenor Louisiana Consumer's League (LCL) filed its " Notice of Withdrawal From Proceeding" (" Notice") in which it
" withdraws its contentions and withdraws as a party."
In its Notice, LCL states that it has entered into a Stipulation with Applicant Louisiana Power & Light Company (" Applicant"), by which "LCL's concerns as evidenced in its contentions, are met," / and that its contentions are withdrawn in light of "information exchanges" with, and certain commitments made by the Applicant.
The NRC Staff (" Staff") has no objection to the withdrawal by LCL of its contentions and its intervention in this proceeding.
- Further, the Staff has reviewed the Stipulation which has been entered into by Applicant and LCL, and notes that it has no objection to that Stipula-tion. Accordingly, the Staff does not oppose LCL's withdrawal as a
