Dear Mr. Miller:
This letter is being written as a re.ponse to a telephone call I received today f rom Mr. Bates' of fice concernirg the sub-mission of the Facility Emergency Plan for the University of Wisconsin's Nuclear Reactor. The Emergency Plan was to be submitted to your Division by November 3,1981.
Our correspondence records show that it was submitted on May 21, 1980 as one part of a two part submiss'on. The other part of that submission consisted of a revised Physical Security Plan; both parts were addressed to your office.
In accordance with the wishes of Mr. Bates' office, I hereby request an exemption from submission of the Plan untti such time as your office can provide us with the newly proposed Rules and Guidance documents mentioned in today's telephone conversation.
