Dear Mr. Denton:
Enclosed are ten copies of Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Em er ge nc y Plan Implementing Procedures.
These procedures are submitted per regulations in 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section V.
Three copies have been sent under separate cover to Boyce H.
Grier, Region I,. Office of Inspection & En fo r c em en t.
These procedures as submitteJ address the Peach Bottom Emergency Plan currently under NRC review.
They are being reviewed internally to modify them according to existing emergency f acilities and equipment.
Revisions based on this review will be implemented on April 1,
1981.
The changing status for the plan and related facilities will require continuing review and revision to the procedures during the transition period from the old plan to the complete implementation of the new plan.
State and county emergency plans are ctill in Regional Advisory Committee (R AC) review.
'de have been advised that final drafts of the RAC reviewed state and county plans will be transmitted to us between March and July of 1981.
Liaison is maintained with the state and county emergency management agency personnel to discover and correct any incompatibilities between the Peach Bottom Emergency Plan and the state and county plans.
A consultant contracted to Philadelphia Electric Company has been providing assistance to expedite the development of local government plans.
