Dear Mr. Miller:
This letter is to request relief from the November 3,1981 submittal date for an Emergency Plan for the Georgia Tech Research Reactor.
Conversations with staff of the Emergency Preparedness Branch has in-dicated that new guidance from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission will be forthcoming soon. It is for this reason that we request an extention of the submittal date.
Georgia Tech will submit a Emergency Plan within a reasonable time after we have received the new guidance. If I can provide any more information at this time, please advise me.
