1 Chapter I - Site Construction, on the grounds of the National Naval Medical Center (NNMC), which i

J Chapter II - Facility No changes were made to the facility.

Chapter III - Reactor Plans were formulated to acquire a new console instru.aentation system from the Army's Harry Diamond Labs.
Two malfunctions occurred in the 1977 reporting period.
1.
The core position interlock failed.
Realignment of the microswitch actuating arm corrected the malfunction.
2.
The Mode II (square wave) logic would energize, prior to the initiation of transient rod ejection, when switching into Mode II. Adjustment of the enable micro-switch on the transient rod drive corrected the malfunction.
Chapter IV - Experimental Facilities No changes were made to the experimental facilities.
Chapter V - Nuclear Analysis No changes were made that affected the Nuclear Analysis.
Chapter VI-Hazard Analysis No changes were made to the Hazard Analysis.

Creel, SRO Operator Trainee, SFC W. Yuna Part B - Tests and Experiments No tests or experiments were conducted during 1977 that exceeded the AFRRI Tecanical Specifications.
The total power generated during the reporting period was 4557.3 kW-br of which 3915.9 kW-br was in the steady-state mode and 641.4 kW-hr was in the pulse r iode.
