To discuss allowable stress limits in concrete portions of containment for tes
- onditions. The proposed " Standard Code for Concrete Reactor Vessels and Containments," ACI-ASf;E Section III, Division 2 Code appears to provide a 33 1/3% increase in allowable stress limit for test con-ditions. Issues to be discussed are
(1) Editorial clarifications of the code (2) Technical bases for the code (3) Description of case by case relief from staff position sought by applicant (4) Staff positions and concerns including (a) rationale for code interpretation to not allow 331/3% increase, (_) potential for larger crack size under sustained test conditions and (c) rationale for differences between codes and staff positions.
