Tne above numbered contract is modified as set forth below:
1.
Article IV " Option to Extend the Period cf Performance," NRC hereby exercises its option to extend the period of performance of the centract for a period not to exceed 12 months, or through October 31, 1982.
2.
In accordance with Article I " Supplies / Services / Prices," unit prices to apply during the period of this option are those reflected in Items No. 3, 3A, 4, and 4A.

Funding is not presently available for exercise of this option.
The Government's obligation hereunder is contingent upon the availability of such ' appropriated funds from which payment for the exercise of this option can be made. Accordingly, this modification effects no change.in the total contract amount.
Moreover, no legal liability on the part of the Government for payment of any money shall arise unless and until funds are made.available to the contracting officer for this option period, and notice cf such availability, to be confirmed by the contracting cfficer's further written modification of this contract, is given to the contractor.
