Dear ?fr. Dattilo:
This letter concerns your petition dated Septenber 8,1981, on behalf of Save the Valley in which you requested that the Cornission institute proceedings against the Uabash Valley Power Association on the basis of the U. S. Rural Electrification Administration's recent extension of financinq assistance to the Association. Your petition has been considered under 10 CFR 2.206 of the Cornission's regulations. For the reasons stated in the enclosed " Director's Decision under 10 CFR 2.206," your petition has been denied.
A copy of this decision will be filed with the Secretary for the Conmission's reviest in accordance with 10 CFR 2.206(c). Copies will also be filed in the Con ission's public docunent room in Washington, D. C., and in the local public docunent roon in fladison, Indiana.
As provided in 10 CFR 2.205(c),
this decision will constitute the final action of the Cor. mission 25 days after issuance, unless the Connission acts to review the decision within that tine.
