2.1 - DIVISION ORGANIZATION Rev. 3 7/27/81 2.1 - DIVISION ORGA'lIZATION Naval Products Division UNC Naval Products, a division of United Nuclear Corporation, is organized for the prime pterpose of producing nuclear fuel alements, materials and components, and for the assembly of complete reactor cor'es.
The President and General Managcr of UNC Naval Products nports to the President of United Nuclear Corp.and has overall responsibility for operation of the Division facilities. Responsibility for nuclear criticality cafety, radiological safety, medical services, nuclear materials, securi.ty, opera-tions, materials, and contract administration has been delegated to the Execut.ive Vice President and responsibility for implemanting the safety and medical programs t
has been delegated to the Manager, Nuclear and Indus trial Sa fe ty. The Manufacturing Operations Manager and the Vice Presicent of Quality Control shall be responsible for enforcing and applying the rules and program conditions for nuclear criticality l
safety and radiological safe'ty.
7he organization of the Division provides for administration, production, technical support, and nue.laar and industrial safety functions, security and nuclear matarials management' on a Division-wide basis. This is shown on the Division Orpnization Chart Figure 2.1 Part II.
