MANAGEMENT REVIEW OF CONSUMERS POWER COMPANY i/OR THE MIDLAND PLANT

$ Overall Objective: Review the proposed organization for operation of the Midland Plant from the laval of the senior corporate officer who willibe 1

in overall charge of nuclear operations down to the proposed operating staff at the plant.

I To accomplish this objective the review team will wish to apend time at the corporate office and the plant.

Our past practice has been to start the review with a thorough briefing by

..the utility en the proposed (or actual) organization, followed by in-depth discussions with selected individuals in the corporate office and at the plant, sufficient to gain a feeling for the qualifications and attitude of i

the individuals and an understanding of how they actually fit into the operation.

Our prime interest is to gain assurance that the corporate management is involved with, informed about, and dedicated to the safe operation of the nuclear plant and that sufficient techaical resources have been or will be
