SIMIARY OF MEETING TO DISCllSS INITIAL / TEST PROGRAM OPEN ITEMS On September 15, 1981, a meeting was held with representatives of CE to discuss the open items in the Chapter 14 review. A list of meeting attendees is enclosed. CE's draft responses to the staff's questions (letter from R. Tedesco to A. Scherer dated July 16, 1981) served as the basis for discussions.
All draft responses were found acceptable by the staff with the fcnlowing exseptions:
640.1 Responsibility for reviewing this item has been transferred j
to LQB; the staff will notify CE hhen the LQB review is complete;

The staff will clarify whether H0T STAND 8Y or HOT SHUTDOWN is being discussed; 640.9(8)
The draft response only discusses demonstration of steam bypass valve capacity; the operability of these valves must also be demonstrated; a separate test abstract is not necessary if the valve ope'rability is demonstrated in another test; 640.11 (4)
