b DOCKET 50-255 - LICENSE DPR PALISADES PLANT - RESPONSE TO IE BULLETIN 81-02 SUPPLEMENT, FAILURE OF GATE TYPE VALVES TO CLOSE AGAINST DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE IE Bulletin 81-02 Supplement, Failure of Gate Type Valves to Close Against Differential Pressure, dated August 18, 1981 requires Consurers Power Company to ascertain whether any of the valves identified in the Bulletin Supplement had been installed or maintained as spares and to take appropriate action if found to be present.
Consumers Power has determined none of the valves identified by IE Bulletin 81-02 Supplement are present at its Palisades Plant.
As a result of not having the affected valves, we consider the actions required by this bulletin supplement to be completed.
