Dear Mr. Keppler:
Public Service Company of Indiana, Inc. (PSI) hereby amends its response to the subject bulletin.
PSI's planned action, disclosed in its response dated June 29, 1978, of requesting vendors to confirm (by letter) that Cutler-Hammer type M relays with DC coils were not being supplied to Marble Hill was not taken.
Instead, a more positive approach was implemented. PSI's architect-engireer reviewed applicable vendor design and qualification equipment docu-mentation against a listing of possibly defective equipment. By this review, it was det.armined that no Cutler-Hammer type M relays with DC coils were planned for use in safety-related applications at the Marble Hill Station.
Another review was performed by our architect-engineer in September, 1981 verifying that none of the subject relays are planned for use in safety-related applications at LSc Marble Hill Station.
