Dear Mr. Hirsch:
Pursuant to the Board's Order of October 13, 1981 directing Staff and CBG to confer on a reduced number of CBG interrogatories to Staff which are necessary to a proper decision in this proceeding, I wish to inform you that I may be reached by telephone at (301) 492-7311 to dis-cuss the possibility of agreement by the Staff to answer a reasonable ntmber of essential interrogatories.
I would propose that after you and your assistants have had time to review the CBG interrogatories, that you infonn me of those you have determined to be concerned with information necessary and unavailable elsewhere.
It would also be helpful for you to identify the contention to which each interrogatory relates. At that time, I would be happy to discuss these with you by telephone or, if necessary, by a personal meeting in Irs Angeles.
