Technical Specification Change Request No. 26, Addendum B The licensee requests that the attached change page 6-6 of Appendix A of.the TMI-II Technical Specifications be substituted for the existing page 6-6 of the Technical Specifications.
II.
Reason For Change The proposed change to the TMI-II Technical Specifications will enable IllI to better use in-house expertise, will be consistent with the requirements for PORC members, and will be in compliance with the latest approved version of the ANSI 3.1 Standard (1978).
III.
Safety Evaluation Justifying Change This change enhances plant safety as the qualification criteria specified in Section 4.7.2 of ANSI /ANS-3.1-1978 allows for a broader range of disciplines and experience levels than those currently specified. The change is actually more restrictive than those allowed by ANSI /ANS 3.1-1978 in that the number of years of related experience to be substituted for a degree is nine rather than the eight years specified in the Standard. Nine years is consistent with the April 1981 draft of ANSI /
ANS 3.1.
