Dear Administrative Judges:
This letter provides an update of the Staff's estimated dates for issuance of the Environmental Impact Appraisal (EIA) and the Safety Evaluation Report (SER). At the special prehearing conference held in Bethesda on May 1,1981, Staff counsel indicated that the EIA would be completed by tne end of August,1981 (Tr. p. 75).
It now appears that a realistic date for the issuance of both the EIA and the SER will be the week of December 21, 1981. Tne Board and all parties to this proceeding will be promptly inforr.ud of any changes in the target date.
