Dear Mr. Collins:
It is requested that Mr. Lonnie J. Cantrell be examined for a Senior Reactor Operator License on the dates specified in the cover letter.
I hereby certify that, in my opinion, Mr. Cantrell will have the necessary qualifications for a Senior Reactor Operator License at the date of the examina-tion.
In addition to the experience and training outlined in this application and the description of this training program submitted to you April 14, 1981, he will have taken an audit exam similar in scope and depth to an NRC Senior Reactor Operator examination.
Mr. Cantrell has participated in more than ten startup and shutdowns and reactivity manipulations since receivirg his Reactor Operator License for this facuity. He has demonstrated his ability as an Operator both in performance of his duties and his extensive participation in the Training Program, in-cluding a simulator program at the G. E. BWR (Dresden) Simulator in Morris, Illinois.
Mr. Cantrell has a need for the Senior Reactor Operator License during the normal performance of his duties at this facility.
