FEMO TO ASL3 AND PARTIE3 RECARDIUC WITHDRAWAL CF CCCU3EL:
Effective Cctober 15, 1981, I :n withdrawing as counsel for Intervenor in the above-captioned proceeding. This action is necessitated because I am moving my law practice at that time from Los Angeles to Northern California.
I hope that my withdrawal fron this case will be only temporary, but I will not be able to mke that determination for certain until after resettling in the north.
The Nuclear law C.nd ar is currently searching for replacement counsel.
In the interim, Mr. Daniel Hirsch, President of the Committee to Eridge the Gap, has been authorized by the ':BG Board to represent it in the case and authori::ed to sign all necessary documents.
During this period he will receive informl advice from the Nudear Iaw Center, until forml counsel can be arranged.
I trust, however, that he will be afforded the consideration generally granted T 5, setrepresentatives in NRC proceedings.
Please continue to serve the Nuclear Inw Center at the above add.rass it would be test to address mterial to NLC directly rather than to me personally, as it might be forwarded north otherwise.
