Dear Mr. YoungLlood:
The purpose of this letter is to supplement information provided la Reference (1) relative to site meteorological data for Byron Station.
Specifically, enclosed is a corrected magnetic tape in the format required by the NRC Staff for which all data gaps have been corrected.
Also enclosed is a printout which delineates the date, time and data type corrected.
These corrections involved interpolation of data taken at other instrument locations on the same tower for the time increment lost, or interpolation of data from the deficient data channel between data points before and af ter the time increment lost.
In the case of precipitation information, the data gaps were filled using data from the National Weather Service reporting statiori at Rockford and also Rochelle, Illinois.
In the event you have any further questions in this regard, please direct them to this office.
One (1) signed original and thirty-nine (39) copies of this letter are provided for your use.
One (1) copy of the corrected magnetic tape and cate correction summary are enclosed.
