Dear Mr. Engelken:
Subject:
SUPPLY SYSTEM NUCLEAP, PROJECT NO. 2 10CFR50.55(e) POTENTIALLY REPORTABLE CONDITION #160 QUALITY CLASS I HANGER DETAILS In accordance with the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e), your office was in-formed by telephone on June 29, 1981 and by an interim report on July 29, 1981 of a potentially reportable condition concerning Quality Class I hanger details.
This condition has been evaluated and determined to be not reportable.
The hanger details in question were produced by the mechanical contractor per contractural requirements to submit "as built" drawings. Approxi-mately 2000 QCI and QCII hanger details were "as built" by redrafting.
Other hanger details were "as built" by mark-up of " approved for construc-tion drawings".
The redrafted hanger details included information contained on the ap-proved construction drawing and subsequently, submitted to the Engineer.
As discussed in the interim report, "as built" hanger details continue to be produced by the mechanical contractor, submitted to the Engineer for review of design calculations, and design verified as part of the

as built program. The redrafted details were never approved or utilized for construction purposes.
Deviations from the approved con-struction drawing represent a previous contractural condition wherein the field engineering staff was authorized to upgrade (modify) hangers to facilitate installation. These modifications-are identified on the "as built" details.
The above information is provided as a final report on this matter.
Should you have any questions, please contact this office.
Very truly yours,
.< f Matlock Program Director, WNP-2
