This letter responds to Supplement 1 of IE Bulletin 81-02 ent.tled
" Failure of Gate Type Valves to Close Against Differential Pressure",
dated August 18, 1981. As reported to you earlier, via our letter No.
AEP:NRC:0551 dated May 27, 1981, we do not have Westinghouse manufactured motor-operated gate valves in use or maintained as spares for use in 4
safety-related systems at the Donald C. Ccok Nuclear Plant.
