HARTSVILLE NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS A1, A2, AND B1 - REPORTABLE DEFICIENCY - RPV SHIELD WALL WELD DEI *ICIENCIES (NCR'S HNP-A-087, HNP-A-108, HNP-A-109, HNP-A-115, AND SX-19)
Inf.tial notification of the subject deficiency was made to NRC-OIE, Region II Inspsetor R. W. Wright or. February 15, 1980. The final report was submitted on June 2, 1981. As discussed with Pete Taylor of your staff on September 16, 1981, TVA has failed to complete corrective actions by the committed date of September 30, 1981.
Work is proceeding slower than expected because of the confined space available to' craftsmen. We now plan on completing all corrective actions on or before November 2, 1981.
