gf Three Mile Islano Nuclear Station, Unit 2 (TMI-h Operating License No. DPR-73 Docket No. 50-320 TMI Unit 2, Recovery Quality Assurance Plan Your letter of June 29, 1981 stated that you found our re.anonse dated April 24,'1981 (LL2-81-0104) to your letter of March 20, 1981 was acceptable with the following exception. The next revision to the TMI-2 Recovery Quality Assurance Plan should make reference to the final issuance of Revision 1 to Regulatory Guide 1.58 dated September 1980 rather than the July 1979 version. We agree to do this, but with the same exceptions stated in our April 24, 1981 letter.
Your letter of June 29, 1981 also requested that we respond to t.eneric letter 81-01, " Qualification of Inspection, Examination, and Tescing and Audit Pereonnel." This generic letter requested that we supply a commitment to meet regulatory positions G.5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 of Pegu-latory Guide 1.58, Revision 1, and Regulatory Guide 1.146 or describe our alternative method of compliance. Additionally, you reque.ced our planned date for implementing this commitments. Our ler.t.cr dated l
April 24, 1981, which you found acceptable as stated in your June 29, 1981 letter, supplied our position on these regulatory guides with the exception that we reference the July 1979 vice the September 1380 version of Regulatory Guide 1.58.
As stated above, we will comply with the l
September 1980 Revision of Regulatory Guide 1.58, with the same exceptions noted in our April 24, 1981 letter. We have already implemented our commitments with respect to these Regulatory Guides and as stated above these commitments will be reflected in the next revision of the Recovery l
