7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-29 YANKEE ATOMIC ELECTRIC COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT'TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued
-Amendment Nc. 55 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-3, issued to the Yankee Atomic Electric Company (the licensee), which revised the license for operation of the Yankee-Rowe Nuclear Power Station (the facility),
located in Rowe, Franklin County, Massachusetts. The amendment became effective on February 23, 1979.
The amendment adds a license condition to include the Commission-approved physical security plan as part of the license.
The licensee's filing complies with the standards and requirements of the Aty ': Energy Act of 1954, as amended (~the Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regula-tions in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set urth in the license amendment.
Prior public notice of this amendment wa's not required since the amendment does not invc1ve a significant hazards consideration.
